Starting from 12:00 noon on Dhu Al-Hijjah 5, the traffic police will be stationed at the entry points of Makkah, implementing robust measures to ensure that only authorized vehicles with permits are allowed access to the sacred city and its holy sites.
The ban on the entry of unauthorized individuals into Makkah, which commenced on June 23, will remain in effect until July 1. This crucial restriction aims to safeguard the sanctity of Makkah and maintain a controlled and organized environment during this sacred period.
The Hajj Security Forces have issued a stern warning, emphasizing the severe consequences for anyone found transporting pilgrims without the required Hajj permit. Violators will face substantial penalties, including imprisonment for a period of up to six months and a hefty fine of SR50000.
Furthermore, if the transportation vehicle is owned by the offender, their accomplice, or partner, it will be subject to confiscation based on a court verdict. In the case of expatriate violators, deportation will follow the completion of the jail term and payment of the fine. Moreover, they will be prohibited from reentering the Kingdom for a specified duration in accordance with the law.
Let us all respect and abide by these regulations to ensure a safe and blessed Hajj pilgrimage for all.
