Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has confirmed that the third or booster dosage is not required for admission into the country.
This was in answer to a question on Jawazat's official Twitter account, which asked, "Peace be with you, Is the third dosage a prerequisite for resident expatriates entering Saudi Arabia?"
"The requirements need the resident expat's visa and iqama to be valid, with an approved document for a negative PCR test done before 48 hours of departure to enter the Kingdom," the Jawazat answered.
According to the Ministry of Health, the following groups are permitted to leave the Kingdom:
1.Saudi citizens who received the corona vaccination for the third or booster dose.
2.Those who took the second dose within 3 months of the first.
3.Saudi residents under the age of 16.
4.The categories that are not allowed, according to the Tawakkalna application.
* Submitting a negative result for an authorized PCR test within 48 hours before departure, with the exception of children under the age of eight. After the following length of time has passed, citizens afflicted with the Coronavirus are able to enter the Kingdom without having to re-test.
- For those who finished the permitted vaccination doses, 7 days from the date of collecting the positive sample.
- 10 days from the time the positive sample was taken for individuals who did not get all of the recommended vaccination doses.
