Khaled Al-Fakhri, head of the Human Rights Association in Saudi Arabia, said the verdict of retribution against 81 terrorists was issued in order to preserve society's security.
As a result, all crimes assigned to the convicts are major crimes that require the most severe penalties to deter those who transgress others' rights and protect human rights from terrorist acts.
Al-Fakhri added, "This is in line with the state's duty to protect society and public and private property, and to penalize those who carry out such acts with appropriate penalties by bringing them before the court.".
