In a recent statement, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has clarified the duration of Umrah visas for foreign pilgrims, set at 90 days from their entry into Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims are required to depart the Kingdom by Dhul Qadah 29, 1445, ensuring the smooth flow of pilgrims to Makkah and Madinah for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
The ministry addressed queries via its "Beneficiary Care" account on social media, emphasizing that Umrah visa holders must adhere to this deadline. Contrary to earlier reports, the validity of the Umrah visa begins upon entry into Saudi Arabia, not from the issuance date.
It's crucial to note that there will be no extensions granted beyond the 90-day duration, nor can the Umrah visa be converted into another type. To apply for Umrah visas, individuals can utilize approved electronic platforms for Umrah services, accessible via the following link: https://nusuk.sa/ar/partners.
