The border number is a unique handwritten number near the visa on every passport. It is assigned by the Saudi immigration department to every passport holder entering the country on a new visa.

When you cannot locate your border number on your passport, you can report it to the visa extension division of jawazat to get the appropriate border number for extending the visa.

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) announced that visitors of Saudi Arabia and citizens of GCC countries can inquire about their border number through Absher instead of visiting Jawazat offices.

A border number service through Absher is one of several services launched by Jawazat in order to provide more flexibility when it comes to performing procedures that Jawazat specialized in.
