Saudi Arabia's Council of Ministers has approved health insurance rules for domestic workers.
The rules will apply to households employing four or more domestic helpers. The decision was made during a Cabinet session chaired by King Salman at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.
The Cabinet also discussed political developments, including efforts to resolve the crisis in Sudan. They highlighted Saudi Arabia's interest in strengthening international relations and cooperation.
The Cabinet praised the Kingdom's participation in the 9th Summit of the Association of Caribbean States in Guatemala and commended the results of the anti-drug security campaign.
Additionally, the Cabinet authorized discussions on enhancing financial cooperation with Turkey and transferred the authority to issue licenses for the teaching and educational consultancy profession to the Ministry of Education from the Ministry of Commerce.
