On Saturday, July 9, the crescent moon of the Islamic month of Dhu Al Hijjah will be visible from Tamir Observatory in Saudi Arabia, making it the first day of Eid Al Adha.

Therefore, tomorrow marks the beginning of the Hajj pilgrimage season this year since it is Dhu Al Hijjah tomorrow.

Traditionally, Eid Al Adha falls on the 10th day of Dhu Al Hijjah. Arafat Day falls on Friday, July 8, which is the ninth day of Dhu Al Hijjah.

On Wednesday evening, the Saudi Arabian Supreme Court urged all Muslims in the kingdom to observe the crescent moon of Dhu Al Hijjah.
