According to the Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia, its department for assaulting persons has initiated an investigation into charges against an expat who impersonated a health practitioner in violation of the Law of Practicing Healthcare Professions.
According to investigations, the man posted false medical information on social media and delivered a lecture at a hotel based on his claims.
Despite claiming to provide medical consultations, the man does not possess any academic qualifications in the medical specialty and no legal authorization from the competent authorities to practice.
It has been revealed that he is not authorized to perform health practices or provide medical opinions.
According to the provisions of the Law of Practicing Healthcare Professions, the Public Prosecution emphasized its commitment to protecting society from illegal medical practices.
Public Prosecution emphasized that impersonation of health professions, or the use of advertising means in this regard, without a license from the competent authority, is prohibited.
