What is Ihram in Islam?
Ihram is a sacred state in Islam, essential for completing major or minor pilgrimages. Pilgrims must purify themselves and wear specific clothing before entering the pilgrimage boundary, or Miqat.
For men, Ihram attire consists of two seamless white cloths: the "Izar" covers the lower body, and the "Rida" drapes over the left shoulder.
Women's clothing must be wide, loose, and devoid of adornments or decorations, covering the entire body. They have the flexibility to wear any suitable clothing following these guidelines.
