WASCO is a market leading integrated recycling and waste management company. WASCO stands for Waste Collection & Recycling Co. Ltd. It is a subsidiary company established in 2004. The company is involved and specialized in the collection of waste paper and cartons, which are being sold to its sister company(MEPCO), the second largest paper mill in the MENA Region after Turkey’s Modern Carton industries using recovered paper as fiber raw material in manufacturing new products. WASCO present collection capability is over 400,000 tons per year, anticipating a growth up to 600,000 tons in the next five years. In addition to this WASCO collects the required materials from different sources such as landfills, shopping centers , markets, hospitals & import from outside KSA. WASCO employs more than 800 employees at all over its range of operations with 300 collection trucks in various locations in Saudi Arabia, where recovered waste papers and cartons are gathered, passed its quality control, baled and stored accordingly in its warehouses. Nowadays, WASCO has started collecting other materials e.g Plastic, Aluminum, Steel e.t.c. WASCO ‘s recovered used cartons is mainly supplied to, and is the one leading in Saudi Arabia. MEPCO runs three paper machines which is expected to produced more than 480,000 M.T
